Barracuda Buddies Every Saturday from 2:30 to 3:00 p.m. and Sundays all day!
Hi Kids! My name is Barracuda Boy and I am so excited to meet you! I am the North Dakota Horse Park mascot and I want to teach all of you what horse racing is all about. Let me tell you, there’s nothing more thrilling than hearing that call to post and being at the track. The sights, sounds and smells make me so excited and I want to have you guys experience it too. I used to race but then I got injured and now enjoy a sweet retirement at the Horse Park. I’m doing great now and am excited to be part of Horse Race North Dakota!
I made sure they dedicated one day to you kids, so every Sunday is now Family Day…and all of you kids are called my Barracuda Buddies. You will have a chance to join in on the Silver Scramble, a race to find all the silver coins in the sand, participate in a coloring contest, and find out which Barracuda Buddy is the fastest in the stick pony race!
Oh did I mention I love picture? Well I love pictures so make sure you bring your camera! I’ll see you at the races!
Saturday: 2:30-3:00 Barracuda Buddies learn about race horses and meet Barracuda Boy up close and personal.
Sunday: 3:00 meet jockey’s and watch horses get saddled. Between Race 2 and 3: Coloring contest in the Barracuda Corner Gazebo 3 and 4: Silver Scramble and the sand box 6 and 7: Stick Pony Race on the track
